Large 3D background files render slowly or cause the program to crash. Is there a solution?
While we can't completely eliminate this issue, you can reduce GPU load and improve rendering stability using the render quality options. ABLUR's render quality feature is designed to calculate at lower internal resolutions while maintaining high-quality visual output.
1. Set render quality to Medium or Low
- This reduces the internal calculation resolution while preserving image sharpness.
- VRAM (graphics memory) usage can decrease by approximately 30–50%.
2. If you experience lag during work
- Lower the quality to Medium or Low, and
- Close other windows to free up GPU resources.
3. If rendering crashes midway
- Temporarily reduce the resolution for testing, or
- Split the rendering into multiple scenes for more stable processing.
The line thickness looks different after exporting. Why does this happen?
In ABLUR, line rendering is designed to follow the exact thickness you set, regardless of image resolution. As a result, lines may look thinner when rendered at higher resolutions.
From version 2.3.3, you can adjust this with the Resolution-Based Line Thickness option:
- Enabled: Line thickness is calculated based on the render resolution. Example: a line set to 1px may appear thinner on high-resolution images.
- Disabled: Line thickness will match what you see on screen before export, regardless of resolution.
Transparent glass materials appear white. How can I fix this?
Please adjust the material settings as follows:
1. Click the object to select it. Note: clicking will first select parent groups, so click until the target object is selected.
2. In the [Materials] menu on the right, choose a glass material and increase the [Transparency] value closer to 100.
The higher the transparency value, the more transparent the material will appear.
Can I apply styles or scenes from SketchUp?
ABLUR supports SketchUp scene data as follows:
- When you import a SketchUp file, the original scenes are created in ABLUR.
- Object visibility, sun position, shadows, and background settings are preserved for each scene.
- Some style settings (e.g., profiles, hidden lines, watermarks) are not automatically applied.
I'm getting an "Invalid Datasmith File" message and the program won't run properly.
If this error occurs, please contact our support team through Discord with the following information:
- Product details: asset name and link to the product you used
- ABLUR version in use (e.g., version 2.3.3) — to check: click the ABLUR logo in the top-left corner → [About]
- A description of the error message or symptoms
A "fatal error" occurs while using the program.
This error is usually caused by outdated or incompatible graphics card drivers. Please try the following steps first:
- Update your graphics card driver to the latest version.
- Restart your computer and attempt rendering again.
If the issue is not resolved, please contact us through Discord with:
- Product details: asset name and link to the product you used
- ABLUR version in use
- A description of the error message or symptoms
I logged in with the trial, but the trial pop-up keeps showing and the app won't launch.
This issue can occur if the login was not fully linked to the app. Please check the following:
1. Confirm the execution pop-up after login
- When logging in on the ACON website, an "Open ABLUR" pop-up should appear.
- Click this pop-up to sync your login with the app.
2. Check VPN, firewall, or security programs
- Some VPNs, firewalls, or antivirus software may block the connection.
- Temporarily disable them and try logging in again.
If still unresolved: → Go to Discord
After logging in, I keep getting signed out, or the app won't launch.
If your login session is unstable, please try the following steps in order:
1. Delete local data and reinstall
- Uninstall the ABLUR program.
- Manually delete the remaining local folder at:
This PC → Local Disk (C:) → Users → (Your Account Name) → AppData → Local → ABLUR - If you cannot see the AppData folder, enable [Show Hidden Items].
- Reinstall the latest version of ABLUR.
2. Temporarily disable firewall and security programs
- Some firewalls or antivirus software may block ABLUR's server connection.
- Temporarily pause these programs and try running ABLUR again.
3. Change your internet connection
- Issues may occur depending on your Wi-Fi or LAN environment.
- Try connecting via a hotspot or another Wi-Fi network and attempt again.
If still unresolved: → Go to Discord
A message says the login server cannot be reached.
This is often caused by certain antivirus software or firewall settings. Examples include Kaspersky, McAfee, or ESET blocking ABLUR connections, or restrictions from corporate firewalls.
Try the following steps:
1. Check Windows Firewall settings
- Control Panel → System and Security → Windows Defender Firewall → "Allow an app through Windows Defender Firewall" → allow ABLUR.exe
- If ABLUR does not appear: Change settings → Allow another app → Browse →
This PC > Local Disk (C:) > Program Files (x86) > ABLUR→ Select Ablur.exe → Add
2. Review antivirus logs — Look for entries showing blocked network connections for ABLUR.exe.
3. Temporarily disable antivirus/firewall and test ABLUR again.
4. Try another network (e.g., mobile hotspot) to see if the issue is related to your current network restrictions.

Subscription & Payment

What payment methods are supported?
Subscription payments are available via Credit/Debit Card and PayPal.
The following payment methods are not supported:
- Bank transfer or wire transfer
- Coupons or account credits
Can I add a payment method during the free trial?
Yes. You can register your card during the free trial period. When you complete your purchase, your card is registered and charged immediately. Payment is processed right away when your card is registered at checkout.
Is my subscription automatically renewed?
Yes. Your subscription renews automatically, and payment will be charged to your registered card.
How can I check my subscription start and end dates?
You can check your subscription period directly in the program.
Top-right User Menu → Subscription Info
Will the price change during my subscription period?
No. Your subscription price is fixed during the current subscription period. If the price changes, the new rate will only apply at the time of renewal.
Can I use my subscription on multiple computers?
Yes. You can use your subscription on more than one computer under the same account.
However, simultaneous access (multiple logins at the same time) is not allowed. If simultaneous access is detected, your account may be restricted.
Where can I check my payment history?
Your payment receipt is sent to the email address you provided at checkout. Please check your email for payment details.
Can I change my payment card?
Changing the payment card is not supported.
We're sorry for the inconvenience, but please cancel your current license first, then re-register and complete payment using your preferred card.

I want to change my billing date.
Changing the billing date is not supported.
If you need a different billing date, please cancel your current subscription and repurchase a new one. Before canceling, make sure to review the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Can I pay for an annual subscription in installments?
No. Installment payments are not supported at this time.

How do I cancel my subscription?
For ABLUR version 2.3.2 or later, you can cancel your subscription directly in the program.
Please review the Cancellation & Refund Policy below before proceeding.

Does the service end immediately after cancellation?
Monthly subscription:
- Cancel within 7 days of the paid start date: Service access ends immediately.
- Cancel after 7 days: Service remains available until the end of the billing period.
Annual subscription:
- Service access ends immediately upon cancellation.
What is the refund policy?
Monthly Subscription
- Cancel within 7 days of the paid start date: Full refund, and service access ends immediately. If purchased during a free trial, the 7-day period starts from the end date of the trial.
- Cancel after 7 days: No refund. Service remains available until the end of the billing period.
Annual Subscription
- Cancel within 14 days of the paid start date: Full refund.
- Cancel after 14 days: A partial refund will be issued after deducting:
- Usage fee based on monthly rate (Paid amount ÷ 12 × number of months used)
- A cancellation fee equal to 10% of the annual subscription's regular list price
- Service access ends immediately upon cancellation of an annual subscription.
- If purchased during a free trial, the 14-day period starts from the end date of the trial.
If you paid via PayPal:
- Payments made with PayPal Balance will be refunded to your PayPal account.
- Payments made with a Credit/Debit Card or Bank Account will be refunded to the respective card or bank account.
Depending on the payment method used, it may take several business days for the refund to be fully processed and reflected in your account.

What exactly is the "Welcome Gift"?

When does the event run?
The referral event starts on February 5, 2026. It may end without notice when the event budget is fully used.
Who can join this event?
1. Inviting a Friend (Sender)
- Who can invite? Anyone with an ACON account.
- How to get rewards: Send your invite link to friends. You get rewards when your friend completes their first trial.
- Note: If your friend has used ABLUR before or doesn't complete the tasks, rewards cannot be issued to you.
2. Receiving an Invitation (Friend)
- You can get the Welcome Gift if:
- You have an ACON account.
- This is your very first time starting an ABLUR trial.
- You complete mobile verification (only if required in your region).
- How to get rewards: Use the invite link to log in and start your free trial. Make sure the invite code is visible in your My Page → Referral menu.
Can global users participate?
Yes, if phone verification is supported in your country. Due to local regulations, participation in the referral event may be limited in some regions.
How can I check if my country is eligible?
If you can successfully complete phone verification during sign-up or in My Page, your country is eligible.
I can't join the referral event. Why?
You may not be able to join the referral event if:
- Phone verification is not available in your country
- Local laws restrict participation or rewards
How many friends can I invite?
There is no limit. Each time a friend starts a trial through your referral, rewards will be added.
I already signed up but haven't started a trial. Where do I enter the invitation code?
Go to ABLUR My Page → Invite Friends, then enter your referral code on the referral event page.
When and how will we receive the rewards?
Both you and your friend will receive rewards automatically once your friend completes two tasks:
- Create a new ACON account.
- Start their very first ABLUR trial through the referral link/code.
I started the trial, but I didn't get the gift. What should I do?
1. For the Friend (Who was invited)
If you haven't received your welcome gift after starting the trial, it's likely the invite code wasn't applied.
- Step 1: Go to your My Page → Referral.
- Step 2: Manually enter the referral's code in the input field.
- Step 3: Your gift will be issued immediately after the code is registered.
- Note: You must be a first-time ABLUR trial user to receive the gift.
2. For the Inviter (Who sent the link)
If your friend started the trial but you didn't get a reward:
- Check Eligibility: Ensure your friend is a first-time ABLUR trial user.
- Code Confirmation: Ask your friend to check if they entered your code at My Page → Referral.
- System Update: Rewards are usually instant, but please allow a few minutes for the system to process.
Where can I check my rewards?
You can check your rewards at ABLUR My Page → View My Rewards. Your point balance and reward history are updated in real time.
How can I use my points?
Do points expire?
Yes. All points follow the ACON Point Policy, including expiration dates and usage rules.
